Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · FinChat.mp is currently in private development. This policy will be reviewed and finalized again before public launch.
The short version
FinChat.mp is built around collecting as little as possible. We don't ask for your phone number, email address, or any government ID to create an account. Your conversations are end-to-end encrypted, so we can't read them. This page explains, in plain language, what little data the site and app do handle, and why.
Information we don't collect
- No phone number, email address, or ID document required to sign up.
- No content of your end-to-end encrypted messages or calls — we can't read them, so we don't store them either.
- No advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party marketing cookies on this website.
Information we do process
To keep the service running and to move money reliably, a minimal set of data is necessary:
- Account data: a device-generated identifier and whatever profile details you choose to add yourself (like a display name).
- Transaction data: the amounts, timestamps, and parties involved in transfers, top-ups, or card payments you make — needed to actually move your money and to meet financial security obligations.
- Technical & security data: basic device and connection information (such as app version or approximate region) used to keep the platform secure, prevent fraud, and fix bugs.
Cookies & local storage
This website does not set any cookies. The only thing it stores in your browser is a single localStorage entry that remembers your chosen display language, so the site doesn't reset to English every time you visit — this is strictly functional and never leaves your device. Fonts are self-hosted, so your browser never contacts Google Fonts or any other third-party service just from loading this page.
How we use this data
Strictly to operate FinChat.mp: to authenticate your account, process transfers and card payments, keep the platform secure, respond to support requests, and comply with applicable financial regulations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Sharing with third parties
We only share the minimum data necessary with service providers strictly required to run the platform — for example, infrastructure hosting and card-issuing/payment-processing partners. We do not sell data to advertisers or data brokers.
Data retention & security
Messages and calls are end-to-end encrypted in transit and at rest on our infrastructure. Transaction records are kept only for as long as necessary for the reasons above, including any minimum retention required by financial regulation. Access to the limited data we do hold is restricted internally and protected with industry-standard encryption.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
Children's privacy
FinChat.mp is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the minimum age required to enter into a financial services agreement in their jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
Because FinChat.mp is still in private development, this policy may change as the product evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever it does, and we'll publish a more detailed policy ahead of public launch.
